110 countries, 450+ participants, 8 ministerial delegations

 

 

Same goals different roadmaps, remember the #egov2019 conference theme? The conference programme, a diverse speakers line up and participants from 110 countries says it all. It is a strong message of countries’ commitment to carry on or to embark digital transformation, and also to learn and share experiences.

Among 466 confirmed participants are representatives of international organisations, like United Nations, UNDP, World Bank, Rockefeller Foundation, and government officials from different countries: 36 countries from Africa, 32 from Europe, 22 from Asia, 12 from America and 8 from Oceania. Conference participants from the most distant countries come from Vanuatu, Aruba and Netherlands Antilles. The largest delegations are from Ukraine, Mauritius and Kyrgyzstan.

This year, we are honoured to welcome ministerial delegations from 8 countries: Armenia, Aruba, Bangladesh, Brunei, Ghana, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Mauritius and Rwanda. 

The conference will host over 40 speakers with diverse backgrounds and expertise. among them are high ranked government officials spearheading digital initiatives in their countries, different experts who will offer insights on different topics, share faced challenges and lessons learnt, and give proven solutions.

#egov19  is also packed with a number of keynote speakers. On the first day of the conference, we will be inspired by Kersti Kaljulaid, President of Estonia, Fabrizio Hochschild, Assistant Secretary-General at United Nations, the European Commission Vice-President, Andrus Ansip and Ravi Shankar Chaturvedi, Co-investigator & Head, Tufts University. On the second day, Liselotte Lyngsø, Managing Partner of Future Navigator will make the closing keynote on future trends by encouraging us to spot the future and train for that.

The conference sessions have been designed with the aim of inspiring and giving ideas, taking into consideration that the stages, challenges and opportunities in digital transformation journeys are different, but again  –  the goal is the same.  Please find out more from the detailed programme and speakers list.

The conference will feature an e-Governance EXPO with presentations from 20 exhibitors, among them 10 IT-companies and VFS Global, Tallinn City, the Estonian ICT cluster, Startup Estonia, the ISA² Programme of the European Commission, the State Agency for e-Governance of Ukraine, TalTech and the e-Governance Academy.
