Estonia showcase: What’s next?

Already for 17 years, Estonia has astonished the world with its digital transformation story and has shared its lessons learnt. At the conference, you can take part in seven sessions dedicated to the most interesting and forward-looking developments in Estonia.

Government CIO of Estonia, Siim Sikkut will speak about Estonian lessons learnt when developing the new national digital strategy, taking up Artificial Intelligence in governance and developing predictive public services.

Estonia’s next steps towards data-based governance – Governance 2.0 – will be presented in the first day of the conference by Mart Mägi, Director General of Statistics Estonia.

The national e-health system always gains a lot of interest by different government delegations, who are visiting Estonia. Peeter Ross, Professor of e-health and Head of eMedLab at TalTech presents the status quo and new developments in the field.

Moreover, Eesti Energia, the biggest Estonian energy company will present data driven and future-proof infrastructure, Tallinn City government will showcase citizen-oriented governance, i-voting experts will share Estonian lessons learnt and the Estonian ICT Cluster will give an overview of how public-private partnership works in Africa.
